Summary
Coins. Three British 'cartwheel' King George III penny coins. The obverse shows a king's wreathed head with a draped bust, with a 'cartwheel' border surrounding the king's head and just decipherable inscription of GEORGIVS to the left of the head and REX to the right of the head. The reverse shows a 'cartwheel' border surrounding a seated Britannia facing left. The inscription is indecipherable.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
