Summary
Coin. A Westphalian, square Germany silver Talerklippe - siege issue coin. The obverse shows an impressed circle with a coat of arms in the centre surrounded by an inscription MONAST : WESTPH : OBSESSUM : 1660. The reverse is blank. This was an emergency issue coin minted during the siege of Münster in 1660.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
