Summary
Fringing. A length of tarnished metal thread fringing from the Saloon mantelpiece. There are fragments of purple cut threads, parts unravelled and pieces of fringing missing.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
