Summary
Moccasin. One of two Canadian moccasins for a child, made of skin with a suede finish, metal eyelets and trimmed with yellow, cotton braid. There is a worn embroidered design on the top front. An attached handwritten label reads 'Canadian Mocassins presented by the Misses King- 1906'; and printed inside 'Z BW 183 3k60'.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
