Summary
Top hat. A top hat dated late 19th century. Fabric of silk, raised nap 'beaver'. Trimmed with black silk petersham as edging; and ribbon with buckle. Lined with buff leather, black cotton, satin weave, cream silk, plain weave. Label 'By Special Appointment Lincoln Bennett and Co./ Sackville Street Piccadilly London./ A.R.Jones, Hope Street Wrexham'.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
