Summary
Peaked cap. The peaked cap, dated 1925 (circa), is part of a dress uniform. The fabric is a blue/black wool raised nap. The cap is trimmed with black leather, a metal 'Royal Welch Fusiliers' badge, and two metal buttons. It is lined with green leather, brown leather, cream velvet and a magenta silk twill weave. The label shows '6 5/8'.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
