Summary
Curtain pelmets. Two over pelmets (i/e and ii/e), c.1770-1800, and tie-backs (i/c-d and ii/c-d)in cream warp, turquoise worsted weft brocade. Made of cream warp, turquoise worsted weft damask (as Blue bed and curtains). Pelmet bound along the top edge with a wool and silk braid with a looped braid in wool and silk following the scalloped lower edge. The lower edge finished with wool bullion fringe and a large wool and silk tassel at each corner.
