Summary
Braid. A fragment of herringbone braid with undyed linen warp, crimson warp brocading and crimson worsted weft and is straight at the edge. The fragment has tack marks and is mounted on net. It is French or possibly English.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
