White-work sampler, c.1765, worked in undyed linen thread with various lace patterns characteristic of 18th C. work. Inscribed on label on reverse 'Sample stitches worked by Ann Jemima Yorke about 1765 - Preserved in Chinese Tiny Cabinet by L.M.Yorke about 1915'.
