Summary
One of a pair of George II tea canisters of irregular serpentine form, with moulded edges and domed, hinged lids, the fronts engraved with the arms of Yorke impaling Hutton in a rococo cartouche, chased with borders of rococo scrolls, and foliage on a matted ground. John Jacobs, 1739.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
