Summary
Oil painting on millboard, Still Life of Flower in Jug (from a Portfolio of oil sketches), possbly Simon Yorke IV (1903-1966). A still life of a single yellow and red flower in a brown jug against a dark background. On the reverse is a landscape study of a tree with a river and field behind it and a buidling in the distance. Unframed.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
