Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Reverend Thomas James Scott, MA (Oxon) (d. 1907), British School, late 19th century. A bust-length portrait, as an elderly man, to the right, of the father of Mrs Louisa Yorke, second wife of Philip Yorke II, whom she married in 1902, and husband of Sophia Anne Turner. He was the Rector of Chilton Foliat, Hungerford. Pendant of NT 1151311.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905 – 1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
