Summary
Drawing instruments case. An instrument case containing a part set of eight drawing instruments. The case has a hinged lid inset with a metal label marked 'Yorke and is lined with blue silk. The lower part of the box contains a tray lined with blue velvet. Contents include; a compass; accessories for compasses; two prickers; a pencil and an ivory handled marker.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
