Summary
Miniature cabinet. A miniature, wooden, glazed cabinet with two shelves, from the dolls' house. The top and sides have been painted to resemble dark graining while the curved front edges are pale. The frames of the doors are also grained and glazed with rectangular pieces of glass with the shaped frame creating a venetian style arch in the centre. The thick glass rectangles are glued to the inside of the door frames and there is tissue along the leading edge of the right hand door. This door also has an overlap on its leading edge and a 'keyhole'. The front edge of the top has been trimmed with thin, gold-coloured tin, with a repousse pattern of lines and nail heads. The base is flat and the heads of tacks, used as door hinges are visible.
