Summary

Steamer. A cylindrical metal container with a lid and four drop handles with the patent mark 'Geo Fowler, Lee and Co 72 Queens Rd, Reading. Fowler's Patent No 258159' and a metal label reading 'Not to be used for bottling etc'.

Provenance

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
