Winding key. A winding key for an English, early 18th century longcase clock. The maker of the clock was Elizabeth Ratcliffe's father, who also made the coffin plate for Elizabeth Yorke.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973. The maker was Betty Ratcliffe's father.
