Summary
A stick barometer/thermometer. An unusual, George III stick barometer and thermometer by George Adams of London. It is set with brass dials in a case with gilt metal chased mounts cast as fruit, flowers, scrolls, masks and shells.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
