Summary
A walnut and fruitwood stool, circa 1770 and later. The top covered in flame-stich woollen needlework, edged with braid. The rails undulating and moulded. The legs topped by stylised shell-carving and on moulded legs with scroll feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
