Summary
One of a pair of beech footstools, English or Welsh, late19th/early 20th century, used as a kneeler in the Chapel at Erddig. The top upholstered in stamped dark red wool velvet plush. The frame line moulded and filled with turned spindles and raised on turned feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
