Summary
A fruitwood-crossbanded oak low dresser, Welsh, probably made in Montgomeryshire, late 18th/early 19th century. The rectangular top with a rail to the back and with reed-moulded edge. The front frieze fitted with three fruitwood-crossbanded and softwood-lined drawers, each fitted with turned wooden handles and brass thread escutcheon. The front apron of three arches and raised to the front on four parallel-baluster and ring-turned legs and two rectangular-section rear legs. All joined by a dished platform stretcher.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
