Summary
A set of mahogany mural shelves, English, circa 1800, one of a pair. Topped by a moulded cornice above two shelves, on slender baluster- and ring-turned columns. The bottom shelf with vacant apertures for two now missing drawers. With applied reeded base moulding.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
