Summary
A featherbanded walnut chest of drawers, English, early 18th century, originally the top half of a chest-on-chest, and now with later top, later moulding beneath the edge of the top and bracket feet and base mouldings. Of three short and three graduated long drawers, all double-featherbanded and crossbanded and lined in oak. Fitted with brass handles and escutcheons, the handles to the long drawers later. All of the drawers spaced by half-round carcase beading.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
