Summary
Fourposter bed. A Hepplewhite period four-poster bedstead, the reeded mahogany footposts stemming from vases carved with husks and scrolls and foliage, the shaped lower portion inlaid with stringings, with painted cornice and the fringed chintz and cotton curtains.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
