Summary
Glass bottle and stopper. A square-based glass bottle, contaning white powder, with a stopper. The bottle has a white adhesive label stating its contents as 'James's Powder' and black lines to the top and bottom of the label. The neck of the bottle is octagonal in shape.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
