Summary
A painted pine and sycamore kitchen high dresser, English or Welsh, possibly made on the estate at Erddig, late 18th/early to mid-19th century. Breakfront, and topped by a pediment with moulded edge and with a moulded cornice above four doors, a central pair and two single outer doors. All fitted with three graduated fielded panels and enclosing three shelves, painted blue. The base topped by two planks of sycamore, with cleated ends, and above six drawers - two long central drawers, two further smaller drawers and two outer square, small drawers - fitted with a variety of handles, some of brass, and above four pairs of fielded-panelled cupboard doors. With flush-panelled ends and a plinth base.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
