Summary
A stand, for a mahogany cellaret, or gardevin, English, circa 1770, the cellaret [NT 1147043.1]. With beading applied to the friezes and with moulded upper edge. Raised on four tapering square-section legs terminating in tapering block feet.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
