Summary
Teapot cover. A teapot cover from a Chinese 'famille-rose' porcelain part service, Qianlong, enamelled in pink and green with storks perched among flowering peonies issuing from rockwork. The borders show bamboo in sepia and gold, comprising; teapot and cover with metal spout; tea caddy and cover; pear-shaped milk jug and cover; two coffee cups and saucers; two coffee cups; and a bowl.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
