Asparagus server. One of four Chelsea wedge-shaped, porcelain asparagus servers, painted with sprays of flowers; chocolate rims. Red anchor period (1752-c.1758).
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
