Summary
Model bird. One of a pair of Chinese biscuit porcelain figures of hawks, perched on pierced rockwork, enamelled on the biscuit in shades of brown, without glaze. Eighteenth century.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
