Mourning ring, worn for mourning the death of Charlotte Tollemache (nee Walpole), Countess of Dysart (1738-1789). Gold & enamel and human hair. Inscription engraved on reverse of ring. Countess of Dysart 5 September 1789 Enamel reads ‘Forgive the wish that would have kept thee here' No makers mark, no hall mark.
