Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Lionel Tollemache, 5th Earl of Dysart (1734-1799) attributed to Andrew Plimer (Wellington 1763 - Brighton 1837). Head and shoulders portrait, turned to left, gazing to the left, in a grey coat with white collar, yellow waistcoat, white furry lace cravat. Light brown eyes, swarthy face, neat grey wig with queue and one curl, aged about 45-50. Greenish background, darked to right, lit from the right.
