Summary

One of a pair, terrestial globe on stand, made of plaster and covered with paper. Stand of mahogany with brass fittings, globe held by a vertical brass hoop which runs on a brass wheel attached to the centre of the circular base and is supported within a broad wooden ring surrounding the globe. The circular base is supported on six legs in the form of columns, standing on bun feet. Details updated by ucy Abraham, 17th October 2012.
