Summary
A screen of tapestry backed with pale blue silk damask, on a tripod iron stand and wooden pole. The tapestry is probably 1740, coloured red, blue, grey and buff and is set in a narrow plain wood frame and held in position on the shaft by a silver fastening which appears on the front of the tapestry in the form of two rosettes. Tapestry depicts a vase of roses and other flowers at the end of a table top. The panel might be from the workshop of William Bradshaw as he supplied furnishings for the drawing room created out of the Queen's Bedchamber.
