Summary
Portrait miniature, enamel, Lady Dorothy Percy, Countess of Leicester (1598–1659) by Jean Petitot (Geneva 1607 – Vevey 1691). Oval. Head-and-shoulders, turned to right, facing, dressed in a low-cut crimson dress edged with fawn and enriched with a pearl brooch and clasps, pearl necklace and double pearl ear-drops. Grey eyes, light brown curled hair with white flowers, pale face modelled with neat stipple, aged 30–40. Sky background.
