Summary
English lantern clock, the striking movement with outside looking plate, anchor escapement and long pendulum in an engraved brass case with dolphin frets and leaf and floral enriched dial centre, bell surmount and turned finials, chapter ring engraved “Eduardis Fecit”, on white painted bracket. Late example from the early eighteenth century, as it appears always to have been fitted with a minute hand.
