Summary

One of a pair of metal lamps suspended on curve spiral twist metal rods. Lamp has glass body, swollen in centre with metal upper and lower fittings. Upper rings hang on three chains on bird-head hooks with (Earl's) coronet finial; Lower band, with cast foliate spiral design has lower bell shape terminal. Lower part unscrews (for maintaining lamp) and has label of J.Bowen, Chesterfield. NB. see hip-baths, etc. in Attic 10.
