Summary
A plastic laminate cantilevered tray table, one of a pair, English, second half 20th century, the rectangular top with raised sides with simulated wood effect, with an L-shaped square-section support, the upright section of adjustable height with a white plastic locking wheel, the horizontal section of the support atop a cross square-section, either end of the cross section and the far end of the horizontal support on a black plastic castor.
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
Marks and inscriptions
Underside of tray.: Indistinguishable characters possibly "malpa" above an "e" over two "xx"s, with a round cornered rectangular cartouche.
