Summary
One of a pair of ormolu and cut-glass chandeliers (NT11165.1), the bowl-shaped base formed of festoons of faceted circular drops, each will ball and lancet drop pendants. Fitted for electricity. One of a pair of glass beaded chandeliers suspended from the panelled ceiling on gilt chains. The chandelier is suspended from its chain by six embellished gilt links which are attached at the top to a gilt ring and at the bottom to the upper rim of the chandelier. From this rim hang approximately fifty glass droplet strands linked by pins attached at the bottom to a gilt and glass oval base. From the base hang five glass pendants and a glass ball. Inside the chandelier are six bulbs suspended from four brass rods which are attached to the upper rim.
