Summary
Section of the West end of the Dining Room with silver display. In ink above drawing: "Design of the West End of the Dining Room with the Nich and Sideboard". Signed and dated: "Robt Adam Architect 1762". Numbered "20". Pencil sketch in niche above the sideboard. Scale in feet. With two painted medallions above the door, later replaced by plaster reliefs of Harvest and Vintage. Formerly in "Sections of Rooms at Kedleston" [CMS inv. no. 109428], p. [37].

Created by Robert Adam for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
