Summary
Sketch of a landscape with classical temple. With note: "Ld Curzons at Hagley from Dr. M.R." This appears to be a sketch of the grounds at Hagley Hall, Staffordshire (demolished 1932). Hagley was acquired by Assheton Curzon, 1st Viscount Curzon, younger brother of Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Lord Scarsdale, in c. 1750. Dr. M.R. has not been identified.

Unattributed sketch, possibly done for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
