Summary
Interior elevation of the Marble Hall, attributed to James Paine. Attributed to "Brettingham and others" in Christie's description. With niches containing copies of classical statuary; underneath the elevation is a plan annotated to identify the statues. Contains a scale. Watermark: Strasbourg lily with initials VDL (D is reversed C).

Attributed to James Paine the elder for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Lord Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
