Summary
Design of a wall with two doors and a recess with side board and wine cooler. With a colour sketch of a painting of 1st Baron Scarsdale and his wife on the recessed wall. With scale. On the verso side is a pencil sketch entitled "Drawing Room" with picture hang details and a settee. For an alternative design of the end wall see CMS inv. no. 109139. Watermark: Strasbourg lily.

Attributed to James "Athenian" Stuart for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
