Summary
"Section of the Painted Breakfasting Room for Kedleston House" (title on drawing) - unexecuted. Interior elevation with domed ceiling, wall recesses and fire place. With designs for decoration. With scale in feet. Signed and dated: "[...]t Adam Archt 1768" (corner partly cut). This was a room intended for the SW end of the south front in an alternative design created after the plan to have southern pavilions was abandoned.

Created by Robert Adam for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
