Summary
Design for the ceiling of the Marble Hall with trophies (Above the drawing: "Part of the Ceiling of the Hall, with the Cove extended upon a Straight Line"). Some annotations in pencil (instructions for colouring) and a rough outline sketch in pencil in one of the un-filled fields. Scale of feet. Signed and dated: "George Richardson 1774".

Created by George Richardson for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
