Summary
A George III ormulu perfume-burner and lid probably made by D. N. Anderson to a design by James Athenian Stuart, in the form of a tripod candelabrum (or altar) chased with foliage and fluting, the supports chased with female heads and resting on claw feet. The whole on a marble base.
Provenance
Curzon Collection acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to The National Trust in 1986.
