Summary
An eight piece Derby armorial collection comprising of a pair of tea bowls with the Scarsdale coat-of-arms and crest, three Derby armorial saucers of large size with the Scarsdale coat-of-arms and crest (damaged) and a set of three saucer-dishes ensuite (one damaged). Made c.1780.
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
