Summary
Marble and alabaster, the Drawing Room fireplace hearth stone, design attributed to Robert Adam (1728-92), c. 1760-63. A marble hearth stone with an alabaster meander (Greek key) motif inlaid around outer edges of hearth stone. Laid flush to floor.
