Summary
Miniature, watercolour on ivory, Nine Buildings and Monuments in Delhi, India. The painting is done on an oval ivory tablet, which was common for miniatures made from Delhi. The central monument is the Qutub Minar and it is surrounded by eight other buildings.
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
