Summary
A nineteenth century brass striking lantern clock with two keys in the seventeenth century style with a circular disc-like Roman dial mounted onto the main body, one of its two hands broken while the other displays a decoratively pierced tip, and decoratively engraved with a central foliate motif. The rectangular box-like body rests on four feet and is fitted with three door panels that open to reveal the internal workings. The top surface carries two pierced floral panels, though there may have originally been three or four lining the edges, and four bands rise up from each corner to create a cage-like effect over the main body, containing the domed bell.
