Summary
Matchbox - A metal box bound in brown crocodile skin with a semicircular brass handle attached to the surface, for the purpose of containing matches. The internal metal frame has been painted green and is fitted with a metal flap carrying a striking pad, which lifts up to reveal the matches within. From a brown crocodile skin stationery box with a brass countersunk handle on the surface along with a brass motif consisting of the initials GAG (NT10589.1).
